Seedy Sunday 2026
In collaboration with Nanaimo Community Gardens, this is a one-day community event to promote seed saving, local seed providers, and education on growing local. With an attendance of over 1400, free educational workshops focused on growing, and local vendors with information and products related to growing, eating and supporting local; this event helps support the community in a variety of ways.
Seedy Sunday 2026 is taking place on March 1st this year! We are expecting over 70 vendors to bringing their locally made/grown products and knowledge with them.

10:30am – Organic Pest Control with Connie Kuramoto
11:30am – Wild Your Boulevard with Lind Brooymans
11:30am – Seeds, Nature, and Fun for Kids! with Beth Kennedy (small cafeteria)
12:30pm – The Seed Story and Seasonal Harvesting with Stz’uminus Elder Daniel Elliott
1:30pm – Seed Saving 101 with Alia McIntyre
