Nanaimo Foodshare Society and Nanaimo Community Gardens are proud to host Nanaimo Seedy Sunday 2026, a beloved annual event that brings our community together to celebrate local food, seeds, and sustainable growing practices.
Seedy Sunday is a vibrant, family-friendly gathering where gardeners of all experience levels can connect with local seed producers, eco-friendly artisans, food growers, and environmental organizations. Attendees can shop, learn, share knowledge, and take part in free educational workshops focused on growing food locally and sustainably.
As a key fundraiser for both Nanaimo Foodshare Society and Nanaimo Community Gardens, Seedy Sunday supports vital community programs while strengthening local food systems across Nanaimo and Vancouver Island.
