"COMMUNITY ROOTS FESTIVAL"
Nanaimo Foodshare was very excited to host our first annual "Community Roots Festival" indoor farmers market
on October 29, 2011 @ Bowen Park Auditorium.
Attendance at the farmers market was free of charge and featured local farmers, as well as local small scale food processors. We also offered a number of free workshops in overwintering and food preserving.
